We introduced plain yogurt...

... and it screwed with her (we suspect).

We started the yogurt Sunday. At the time, there were no signs that it clashed with her. She ate it four days in a row, and then the tummy troubles started. It could very well be a coincidental intestinal virus. Whatever is it is, runny diapers have been the case since Wednesday;  and we've been fighting a fever in 99.6-101 range. Her body temperature is just high enough to cause her grief. She's providing plenty of wet diapers, and she remains peppy so I don't think there's any reason to run to a doctor just yet; but I am concerned that she hasn't rounded the corner on this thing even though we are going on five days.

Today she got in one good nap, then struggled the rest of the day. Four different attempts she drifted off to sleep "for the night", only to be wailing for me twenty minutes later. Daddy doesn't cut it, she needs Mama. She has been my little shadow all day, and definitely communicated clearly when she felt there was too much distance between us (by me stepping in the bathroom to pee or running to her room to grab a fresh dipey). So we're in newborn mode. Whatever it takes. She fell asleep on my chest during the latest attempt to sleep, skin freakishly frigid and sticky with her breaking fever. She hasn't snuggled up with me like that for so long. It was bliss, even if we were uncomfortably glued together.

Poor sweetpea :(

Poor little one... I don't know that fever would be a result of intolerance to foods, sounds more like a yukky virus.

I'm so glad Annelise has a loving and patient mommy and daddy. Keep up the good work!
